The Public Guardian plans and directs the functions and programs of the Public Guardian's Department of Washoe County. The Public Guardian is responsible for the Public Guardian Department and exercises direct and indirect supervision over all department staff.
SUPERVISING GUARDIAN CASE MANAGER
The Supervising Guardian Case Manager supervises, plans, coordinates and manages a variety of guardianship cases, assessing and determining the needs of proposed wards, coordinating ward services within a client's economic resources, overseeing and monitoring the verification of the assets of proposed wards' estates.
GUARDIAN CASE MANAGER
The Guardian Case Manager manages a variety of guardianship cases and investigations, assessing and determining the needs of proposed wards, coordinating ward services within a client's economic resources; verifies the assets of proposed wards and manages wards' estates; and performs related work as necessary.
The Registered Nurse provides professional nursing services for clients; provides testing, client education and treatment follow-up.
ADMINISTRATIVE SECRETARY SUPERVISOR
Provides a variety of responsible and complex secretarial/administrative/financial support functions to management; supervises office staff responsible for providing support services, and performs related work as needed.
OFFICE SUPPORT SPECIALIST
Provides paraprofessional level administrative support to the department. Provides lead direction over support staff; provides training and on-going support to staff.
ACCOUNT CLERK II
Performs a variety of technical and clerical accounting duties involved in maintaining specialized and or complex fiscal records for the wards of the office. Assists in the preparation, analysis, and review of client budgets and other related financial transactions.
Performs a variety of clerical accounting duties for the wards of this office, involving financial record keeping or bookkeeping of transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable; may also do cash handling, stamping and preparing receipts and arrange related reports and documents; and provide a variety of clerical support to assigned staff and program.
PROPERTY INVENTORY CLERK
Maintains property control and inventory systems; and performs related duties as needed.
OFFICE ASSISTANT II
Performs a variety of clerical and administrative support tasks in support of the department and performs related tasks as needed.
GUARDIAN CASE SPECIALIST
Assists with a variety of guardianship case duties, assesses case plans and carries out functions of terminations; coordinates with Guardian Case Managers to assist with ward services and placements that fall within client's economic resources.
