Reno, Nevada. June 21, 2013.  Washoe County’s Community Services Department (CSD) sent out 5,467 postcards this week to businesses in the community asking for participation in an online survey to identify potential service improvements.

The survey takes approximately 5-10 minutes to fill out online and was sent to all those who hold a current Washoe County business license. The deadline to submit the survey is July 31 and licensed business owners may visit www.washoecounty.us/blfeedback.

“One component of the County’s adopted economic development action plan is to survey existing County business owners to gain a better understanding of issues which affect them,” said Bob Webb, CSD Planning Manager. “The goal is to gather information from our business license customers concerning starting or conducting a business in the County.  The County’s economic development team will use the survey information to evaluate current business license services in order to improve or streamline those services.”

Survey results will be presented to the County Commission during economic development updates later this summer.
