Reno, Nevada. Nov. 25, 2013. Most Washoe County offices will be closed Thursday, Nov. 28 and Friday, Nov. 29 for the Thanksgiving holiday. The following will be closed:

  • Administrative offices at the Washoe County Complex on Ninth Street in Reno.
  • All Washoe County libraries. Additionally, on Wednesday, Nov. 27, Downtown Reno and Spanish Springs Libraries will be closed, and the following libraries will close at 5 p.m.: Incline Village, North Valleys, Northwest, Sierra View, South Valleys, Sparks, and Verdi. Visit www.washoecountylibrary.us to view the full list of library hours, place a hold, renew a checkout, download eBooks, research databases and more.
  • Washoe County Senior Services facilities.
  • The Washoe County District Court.
  • The Washoe County District Attorney’s Office.

The following will be open:

  • The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office, including its reception and front desk area.
  • The office of the County Clerk at the Washoe County Complex on Ninth Street and Wells Avenue in Reno will remain open throughout the holidays from 8 a.m. to midnight for the issuance of marriage licenses, fictitious firm name and notary bond filings, as well as to accept property tax payments for the Treasurer’s Office.
