Reno, Nevada. Oct. 23, 2014. Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District responded and suppressed three early morning fires. The fires occurred within a couple hours of each other.

Thursday, at 2:29 a.m.,TMFPD firefighters responded to a 30 foot by 30 foot brush fire near Galena High School. Firefighters were able to quickly put the fire out.

While working on the fire near Galena High School, TMFPD received a second fire call at 2:48 a.m., for a structure fire on Limonite Ct. Upon arrival, firefighters extinguished the fire in the garage, preventing it from moving into the residential part of the home.
