If there were a major disaster in our region, would your business survive? Would you be able to recover from a major earthquake, flood or fire?

If the answer to those questions is no, or you don’t even know what the answer would be, you need to attend a free business and local government partnership event to ensure your business will survive.

When: Thursday, April 30, 2009 Time: 10:00 am to Noon Where: Regional Emergency Operations Center (REOC) 5195 Spectrum Blvd. (take 395 North to Parr Blvd., turn left onto Dandini Blvd. (east); continue through roundabout and go north (up the hill) on Spectrum Blvd.)

This free workshop is sponsored by Washoe County Emergency Management, the Reno/Sparks Chamber of Commerce, and the Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada. The workshop is facilitated by the Michigan State University’s School of Criminal Justice through funding from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
