     The WCJS Sparks Office serves as the gateway for early intervention and prevention programs. These programs emphasize early identification of at-risk youths with the aim of empowering families to work cooperatively to solve their problems.  The Sparks Office services include reception, processing and case management of status offending youth.

The WCJS Sparks Office does not provide residential time out services. However, parents in need of immediate assistance after hours or on weekends are encouraged to fill out an online referral form.

CASE MANAGEMENT -Appointments may be scheduled to discuss youth's issues prior to any police involvement. Case management services include assessments, crisis intervention, and referrals to community agencies and programs.

HOW DO I ACCESS THE WCJS SPARKS OFFICE SERVICES?

1-  A parent may call the WCJS Sparks Office at 775-856-4600, Monday through Friday, 8-5pm to schedule an appointment with a Case Manager prior to any police involvement.

2- A parent may fill out a Referral Request online and a Case Manager will respond within 24 hours.

3- A parent may also call the after hours phone at 775-856-4604 and a Case Manager will respond within 24 hours.
