Medicare Improvements for Patients and Providers Act provides funding to help
Medicare beneficiaries apply for two valuable benefits:
Medicare beneficiaries apply for two valuable benefits:
1. Low Income Subsidy "Extra Help" - provides assistance to Medicare Part D beneficiaries in paying for their monthly prescription drug costs.
2. Medicare Savings Programs - available through the state Medicaid agency, helps consumers with low income pay for their Medicare premiums.

Senior Services Monthly Food Pantry
Gross Maximum Income --1 person - $1,245 per month;
2 people - $1,681 per month
Must be 60 or older (or have spouse 60+)
Two bags per household, First 300 participants only
ID and Proof of Income ARE REQUIRED
Distribution is the Third Tuesday each month beginning at 9:00 am.
Limited to the first 300 people
Only at the Reno Senior Center, 1155 E. 9th Street
Gross Maximum Income --1 person - $1,245 per month;
2 people - $1,681 per month
Must be 60 or older (or have spouse 60+)

ID and Proof of Income ARE REQUIRED

(Or until commodities are gone, whichever comes first.)
